Louis M. Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 carries one of California's oldest winemaking stories, with roots going back to 1933 when Louis M. Martini arrived from Italy with a vision to craft world-class wines in Napa Valley. Today the winery is a cornerstone of American wine culture, and their Sonoma County Cabernet delivers full Napa/Sonoma character at an attractive price — with absolutely no compromise in style.
The wine pours a dark ruby with purple edges. The nose offers classic California Cabernet — ripe blackberry, dark cherry and cassis with a gentle touch of herbaceousness, menthol and sweet oak. On the palate it is full and rounded, with rich ripe tannins, good acidity and a finish carrying notes of cocoa and dark fruit.
Excellent with grilled beef, lamb cutlets, meat sauces or mature cheddar. Serve at 17–18 °C. Cellaring potential: 5–8 years. We are the official distributors of Louis M. Martini for the Czech market. Shipped directly from our warehouse in Prague.
