The aroma is opulent, full of red berries, primarily cherries and raspberries, followed by hints of cocoa, nuts and tea. The freshness is enhanced by notes of black pepper and cedar. The taste is full and fresh. The contrast between velvety tannins and fresh acidity in the finish perfectly complements the palette of flavours, full of currant sorbet, plum sauce and strawberry jam. Fresh fig and marzipan lend richness and texture, beautifully combining the contrasts of the individual components of this amazing wine. The finish is long-lasting, with predominant notes of Christmas spices, coffee beans, aniseed, a hint of caramel sweetness, fresh blueberries and cinnamon.Read more

Description Chateau Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 750ml

Louis M. Martini Sonoma County Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 carries one of California's oldest winemaking stories, with roots going back to 1933 when Louis M. Martini arrived from Italy with a vision to craft world-class wines in Napa Valley. Today the winery is a cornerstone of American wine culture, and their Sonoma County Cabernet delivers full Napa/Sonoma character at an attractive price — with absolutely no compromise in style.

The wine pours a dark ruby with purple edges. The nose offers classic California Cabernet — ripe blackberry, dark cherry and cassis with a gentle touch of herbaceousness, menthol and sweet oak. On the palate it is full and rounded, with rich ripe tannins, good acidity and a finish carrying notes of cocoa and dark fruit.

Excellent with grilled beef, lamb cutlets, meat sauces or mature cheddar. Serve at 17–18 °C. Cellaring potential: 5–8 years. We are the official distributors of Louis M. Martini for the Czech market. Shipped directly from our warehouse in Prague.
